The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) has officially received its ISO certification from TÜV-NORD, a globally recognized certification body.
The ceremonial turnover took place on 10 September 2025 in Quezon City, where Interim Regional Director John F. Campomanes and OIC–Chief Statistical Specialist Diesah S. Biaoco accepted the certificate on behalf of the provincial office.
The certification marks a major milestone for the PSA – Negros Occidental PSO, which successfully completed a rigorous audit in March 2025.
This achievement highlights the PSO’s commitment to implementing a strong and effective Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with international standards.
The certification covers the office’s core services, including statistical operations, civil registration, and National Identification (NID) System implementation.
“This ISO certification is not just a piece of paper; it is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of every single member of our team,” said Campomanes.
“It formalizes our commitment to continuous improvement and our resolve to provide the Negrense community with accurate, reliable, and high-quality statistical data and civil registration services,” he added.
The ISO certification ensures that PSA – Negros Occidental PSO’s systems are consistently managed to meet stakeholder needs and exceed expectations.
It also reinforces public trust in the office as a credible and dependable source of vital data and government services.
