BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office concluded the 35th Civil Registration Month with a closing ceremony on February 26, 2025, at GT 888 Mall, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
The celebration adopted the theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System.”
Local civil registrars, staff of local civil registry offices, participants, coaches, and winners of the month-long activities attended the culmination program.
The top three winners of each activity, including the Local Civil Registry and PSA Personnel Edition Quiz Bee, Infographics Making Contest, and E-Poster Making Contest, received their prizes during the ceremony.
John F. Campomanes, Interim Regional Director and Chief Statistical Specialist of the PSA Regional Statistical Services Office of Negros Island Region, and Ms. Diesah S. Biaoco, Supervising Statistical Specialist, expressed their gratitude to the participants.
They also conveyed hope for future Civil Registration Month celebrations to be equally successful.
