Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Iloilo personnel, together with RSSO-VI OIC RD Nelida C. Amolar and hired statistical researchers, pose for a photo as they enhance their knowledge and skills for the upcoming July 2025 LFS-FIES Visit 1 enumeration.
The Philippine Statistics Authority – Iloilo Provincial Statistical Office will conduct the July 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and its rider survey, the 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) Visit 1.
A total of 114 hired statistical researchers completed third-level training held at Days Hotel by Wyndham Iloilo.
The LFS is a nationwide household-based survey that gathers data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population.
It provides key information on labor market indicators such as labor force participation, unemployment rates, hours worked, and the previous industries and occupations of currently unemployed individuals.
The 2025 FIES, conducted in two visits, is attached to the July 2025 and January 2026 rounds of the LFS.
It is the country’s primary source of detailed data on family income, sources of income, expenditures, and consumption patterns.
The survey helps determine income distribution, living standards, spending behavior, and income inequality among Filipino families.
Third-level training began on June 30 and will run until July 6.
Trained statistical researchers will be deployed in selected municipalities of Iloilo province and in Iloilo City, a highly urbanized city, starting July 8.
Enumeration will continue through the end of July.
A total of 1,568 sample households in Iloilo province and 1,641 sample households in Iloilo City will be visited and interviewed.
