The Philippine Statistics Authority’s Guimaras Provincial Statistical Office continues to strengthen the delivery of National ID services beyond registration, ensuring that registered individuals receive assistance in managing and using their National ID for public and private transactions.
Recognizing that the National ID process extends beyond registration, PSA Guimaras remains committed to providing accessible, efficient, and client-centered post-registration services through its Fixed Registration Center and mobile service activities across the province.
From January through June 2026, the office served 16,604 clients through various National ID-related services, reflecting growing demand for post-registration assistance and identity management services.
The most frequently used service was the issuance of the National ID in paper format, with 9,516 IDs released to registered individuals.
The paper-format ID allows registrants to immediately use valid proof of identity while awaiting the delivery of their National ID card.
PSA Guimaras also processed 1,848 Transaction Reference Number retrieval requests, allowing registrants to recover their registration details for National ID-related transactions and verification.
The office completed 1,661 National ID updating transactions to help ensure that registrants’ demographic information remains accurate and up to date.
PSA Guimaras also facilitated 67 biometric recaptures to improve biometric quality, resolve registration issues, and support the successful processing of National ID applications.
In addition, the office assisted 41 registrants in generating their Digital National ID through the eGovPH application.
The Digital National ID may be presented in transactions requiring proof of identity.
The office also continues to provide authentication services to support the secure verification of National ID credentials.
Established under Republic Act No. 11055, the National ID System is intended to provide a single identification system for Filipino citizens and resident aliens and simplify transactions with government agencies and private institutions.
The National ID card, National ID in paper format, and Digital National ID are all valid proof of identity and age, subject to proper authentication.
Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida B. Losare said delivering quality post-registration services is as important as registration itself.
“The National ID journey does not end after registration. Our responsibility is to ensure that every registrant can conveniently access the services they need—from updating their information and retrieving their Transaction Reference Number to obtaining a National ID in paper form and generating their Digital National ID. These services help ensure that every Guimarasnon can fully maximize the benefits of the National ID System,” Losare said.
Losare said the increasing number of clients using post-registration services reflects the National ID’s growing role in everyday transactions.
“As more Guimarasnons use their National ID to access government programs, financial services, employment opportunities, and other transactions, the need for post-registration support has also grown. Through these services, we ensure that registrants can keep their records accurate, resolve registration concerns, and continue using their National ID with confidence,” she said.
PSA Guimaras encourages registered individuals to promptly request updates to their National ID information when necessary and immediately report registration concerns that require biometric recapture or correction.
Registrants who have not received their National ID card may obtain the National ID in paper format or seek assistance in generating their Digital National ID through the eGovPH application.
Both formats may be presented as valid proof of identity in accordance with existing guidelines.
The office also reminds the public to keep their contact and demographic information secure and up to date to ensure accurate records and seamless access to government and private-sector services.
Through the continued enhancement of its post-registration services, PSA Guimaras remains committed to providing responsive, reliable, and citizen-centered National ID services that support the evolving needs of Guimarasnons.
For inquiries about post-registration National ID services, the public may visit the PSA Guimaras Fixed Registration Center, follow the official PSA Guimaras Facebook page, or contact the PSA Guimaras Provincial Statistical Office.
