PSA Guimaras marked its 12th anniversary with the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit PSA,”highlighting 12 years of service, growth, and innovation in statistics and civil registration.
“As part of this milestone, PSA Guimaras rolled out activities that combined outreach, service, and fellowship,” Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida B. Losare emphasized.
On 10 September 2025, the provincial office carried out a gift-giving activity at Sitio Serum, Barangay San Nicolas, Buenavista, in partnership with the Local Civil Registry Office of Buenavista.
“The event brought smiles to children and families through the distribution of school supplies and food packs, serving as a reminder that statistics and civil registration are ultimately about improving lives,” Losare said.
To complement the gift-giving, PSA Guimaras also conducted a National ID information campaign, orienting residents—particularly members of Indigenous Peoples—on the different types of National ID cards, their uses, and how they help access social protection programs and government services.
An on-site National ID registration was also conducted, enabling residents—including members of Indigenous Peoples—to secure their IDs immediately.
In addition, the Municipal Civil Registry of Buenavista catered to requests for SECPA (certificate of live birth), ensuring that civil registration services were delivered alongside the community outreach.
The provincial celebration culminated on 12 September 2025, when PSA Guimaras personnel, partners, and stakeholders gathered for a day of thanksgiving and camaraderie.
The event opened with a motorcade and Thanksgiving Mass, symbolizing both pride in PSA’s national achievements and gratitude for local support.
Employees then enjoyed parlor games, the PSA Quiz Bee, and PSA Family Feud, fostering teamwork and unity among colleagues.
In the afternoon, the spotlight turned to the PSA Got Talent competition, a lively showcase of the creativity of personnel.
The program also featured the awarding ceremony and the Parangal sa mga Bayani ng Estadistika, which recognized outstanding contributions of PSA personnel and partners who continue to advance the agency’s mission in statistics and civil registration.
“As PSA celebrates its 12th year as a national agency, PSA Guimaras proudly takes part in honoring this milestone. It is a reminder that our mission goes beyond data — it is about serving the people and supporting national development with resilience and agility,” Losare said.
The PSA’s 12th anniversary is more than a celebration of years passed; it is a reaffirmation of its promise to the Filipino people.
“For PSA Guimaras, the week’s activities demonstrated how the agency continues to bridge statistics and service, community and innovation, people and progress,” Losare said.
“Moving forward, PSA Guimaras remains committed to building a resilient, agile, and future-fit PSA — one that empowers lives today and shapes a better tomorrow,” Losare added.
