The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office VI (PSA RSSO VI) deployed its Mobile Civil Registration System (CRS) in multiple municipalities and cities across Western Visayas in November–December 2025, bringing on-site access to civil registry documents closer to communities.
PSA RSSO VI said it successfully rolled out Mobile CRS services in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, on Nov. 14, 2025, timing the activity with the Kahilwayan Job Fair 2025 to provide jobseekers and residents streamlined access to essential records.
In Sta. Barbara, the Mobile CRS team served 107 clients and issued 253 Security Paper (SECPA) documents, according to the PSA.
Municipal Civil Registrar Susan Simpao commended the PSA’s effort to deliver efficient documentation services directly to the community, the press release said.
The Mobile CRS team extended its services to Pavia, Iloilo, on Nov. 15, 2025, serving 69 clients and processing 146 SECPA documents.
PSA RSSO VI said residents expressed high satisfaction with the on-site service, noting it saved them the time and expense of traveling to Iloilo City to secure documents.
Municipal Civil Registrar Jenny S. Servidad and Registration Officer I Fel David Janolino welcomed the activity as part of the agency’s push for accessible registration services, the PSA said.
In Guimbal, Iloilo, on Nov. 19, 2025, the team facilitated the release of 226 SECPA documents for 129 residents.
Municipal Civil Registrar Percylette G. Quidato attributed Guimbal’s successful rollout to collaboration among the PSA, the municipal civil registrar’s office, and the Association of Barangay Secretaries, which helped ensure services reached barangays across the municipality.
PSA RSSO VI conducted a two-day Mobile CRS activity in Pototan, Iloilo, on Nov. 21–22, 2025, following an initiative led by Municipal Civil Registrar Mary Ann S. Jardeleza.
The Pototan activity drew a large turnout, serving 609 clients and releasing 1,281 SECPA records over the two days, the PSA reported.
A highlight in Pototan was a ceremonial birth certificate release held in coordination with the local chief executive, with the PSA noting the strong response underscored demand for localized civil registration services.
To serve Guimaras, PSA RSSO VI held a Mobile CRS activity at the Provincial Statistical Office in Jordan on Nov. 24, 2025, in a collaborative effort led by Chief Statistical Specialist Nelida B. Losare.
The Jordan, Guimaras activity enabled 200 clients to secure 498 documents, including birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as Certificates of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR), the PSA said.
PSA RSSO VI said providing the services locally reduced the need for residents to travel by sea to Iloilo City, easing administrative burdens on Guimarasnon families.
On Dec. 17, 2025, the Mobile CRS team returned to Jordan, Guimaras, to participate in the 108th Grand Serbisyo sa Barangay, an activity initiated by Municipal Civil Registrar Jesusa M. Millondaga.
During the Dec. 17 Jordan activity, the team served 157 clients and released 305 SECPA documents, according to PSA RSSO VI.
The PSA said one highlight was the release of free birth certificates sponsored by the local government unit of Jordan, describing it as a gesture that underscored LGU support for marginalized constituents.
Closing the year’s outreach, PSA RSSO VI conducted a two-day Mobile CRS activity in Miagao, Iloilo, on Dec. 18–19, 2025, in coordination with Municipal Civil Registrar Maria Teresa Jambre.
In Miagao, the team provided 149 clients with 299 SECPA documents, and residents praised the “outright release” system that allowed them to obtain vital records in just a few minutes, the PSA said.
PSA RSSO VI said the Mobile CRS activities from November to December 2025 highlighted its community-centered approach and the role of partnerships with local government units in delivering civil registry services directly to residents in Iloilo and Guimaras.
The agency said these initiatives supported rapid issuance of vital records while reinforcing its commitment to transparency and public service excellence as it positions itself as a reliable service provider in the communities it serves.
