The Philippine Statistics Authority Negros Occidental brought National ID and civil registration services closer to residents of Binalbagan through a two-day “One Time, Big-Time Serbisyo Caravan” on May 28, 2026.
The activity aimed to make essential government services faster and more accessible, especially for residents from remote communities and vulnerable sectors.
PSA National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Claire Dennis S. Mapa, Ph.D., led the activity, together with OIC Regional Director John Campomanes and OIC Chief Statistical Specialist Diesah S. Biaoco.
The PSA said their presence reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to efficient, inclusive and people-centered services in communities across the country.
Through the mobile service caravan, residents accessed National ID registration, civil registration services, and assistance in obtaining and using the Digital National ID.
The initiative forms part of PSA’s continuing efforts to strengthen identity registration and improve access to civil registration documents for Filipinos.
The National ID system is intended to provide Filipinos with a valid proof of identity that can support easier access to public and private services.
The PSA said it remains committed to accurate, reliable, responsive and inclusive services as it expands outreach programs toward a more digitally connected and service-oriented nation.
