ANTIQUE — The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office VI brought civil registration services closer to residents of Caluya, Antique, through a two-day Mobile Civil Registration System activity held from May 7 to 8, 2026.
In a press release dated May 12, 2026, with Reference No. 2026 PR17, PSA RSSO VI said the initiative was carried out by its Mobile CRS Team to serve residents in remote island communities, including Semirara Island.
The activity allowed residents to access PSA-issued civil registry documents without traveling to mainland service centers.
PSA RSSO VI said the mobile service was implemented in collaboration with the local government unit of Caluya under Mayor Rigil Kent G. Lim and the PSA Antique Provincial Statistical Office, headed by Chief Statistical Specialist Dr. Randy M. Tacogdoy.
The Mobile CRS activity was conducted simultaneously with National ID registration and the 2026 Community-Based Monitoring System Reassessment operations of PSA Antique.
PSA RSSO VI said the setup helped ensure efficient and accessible delivery of government services to the people of Caluya.
A total of 506 clients were served during the two-day activity.
Aside from issuing civil registry documents, the Mobile CRS Team accommodated inquiries and concerns on civil registry records.
The team also addressed questions and problems related to birth, marriage, and death certificates, providing guidance to help clients resolve documentation concerns.
PSA RSSO VI said the activity reflects the agency’s commitment to deliver “Serbisyong Totoo” by making civil registration and identification services accessible, responsive, and inclusive, especially for Filipinos in remote and island communities.
