Prometheus Charts Seven Years of Relentless Curiosity

ILOILO CITY — It all began in a bedroom. With no big office, no big team, and no perfect plan, it was an abundance of ideas, uncertainty, and a willingness to figure things out along the way that ignited the rise of Prometheus. Seven years later, that same drive has taken the agency from a modest venture to the largest agency in the region.
What began as a homegrown agency has grown into Western Visayas’ award-winning, full-service public relations and marketing firm, with campaigns now reaching communities across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Yet for Prometheus, growth has never been measured solely by the markets it enters or the recognitions it receives. Each milestone serves as evidence of a mindset that continues to push beyond what is already known.
The agency’s seventh anniversary is less a celebration of how far it has come and more a reminder of why it continues to move forward.
For CEO Atty. Lcid Crescent Fernandez, the occasion is not simply about looking back at accomplishments, but reflecting on the journey the agency has taken and reaffirming the principle that has guided Prometheus from the beginning.
“Seven years later, we’ve grown into the largest agency in the region. But honestly, the numbers are not what I’m most proud of. I’m proud of the journey. The late nights. The crazy ideas. The mistakes and the losses, all we had to learn from. The moments when we had no idea what we were doing, but figured it out together.”
Atty. Fernandez recalls the humble beginnings of Prometheus, starting with a small space that housed the agency’s pioneering team. What began with a handful of people has since grown into a full-fledged agency with its own office, a team of around 50 Idea Engineers working on more than 60 brands across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
For Atty. Fernandez, however, the agency’s growth is measured by more than numbers. It is found in the people who stayed through the uncertainty, the clients who trusted Prometheus before it had all the answers, and the troopers who believed in the vision and helped build it along the way.
The journey, he says, was never about having everything figured out from the start. It was about learning, building, and moving forward together. Seven years in, that process continues to define Prometheus as it looks toward whatever comes next.

Into Greater Adventures
Prometheus’ relentless curiosity has always pushed the agency beyond the familiar. As the challenges grow bigger, so does the territory it is willing to take on. Beyond its established presence in Western Visayas, the agency continues to extend its campaigns across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing its capabilities to new markets and communities.
Beyond expanding its reach, this pursuit has also opened more opportunities for homegrown talent to take their work beyond the region. As the only agency outside Metro Manila to consistently earn recognition on major industry stages, Prometheus has helped put Ilonggo talent in the national and international spotlight. Its growing list of accolades includes recognition from the Anvil Awards, Marketing Excellence Awards Philippines, and PR awards in Singapore, among many others, demonstrating the capabilities of Ilonggo professionals on bigger platforms.
Seven years into its journey, Prometheus continues to look beyond what is familiar, taking on bigger challenges while creating more opportunities for local talent to be seen on bigger stages. The agency remains guided by the same curiosity that started it all, carrying its work into territories beyond home ground and toward whatever destiny awaits.
