ILOILO CITY — A 31-year-old man on probation following a previous drug-related arrest was apprehended in another anti-drug operation in Jaro district on the afternoon of Oct. 19, 2026.
The suspect, identified as alias “Toto White,” is a resident of Barangay Pili, Ajuy, Iloilo, but was temporarily staying in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
He was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Our Lady of Lourdes, Jaro.
Personnel of Iloilo City Police Station 9 (ICPS 9) seized approximately 160 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP 1,088,000.
Police Capt. Dexter Sevilla, ICPS 9 chief, said the suspect had been renting a room in Barangay Bolilao and had no known source of livelihood apart from his alleged involvement in illegal drug sales.
Police began monitoring the suspect following the arrest of another suspected drug dealer on Oct. 15.
Investigators believe the two suspects are connected to the illegal drug trade.
Police records showed that Toto White was previously arrested on drug-related charges in 2016.
He was subsequently released under a plea-bargaining agreement and placed on probation.
The suspect is detained at ICPS 9 pending the filing of charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
