Police Regional Office 6 arrested a regional priority target and three other drug personalities in separate anti-drug operations across Western Visayas on June 4, 2026.
PRO6 said the operations led to the seizure of about 297 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP 2,019,600.
Among the major operations was a buy-bust in Barangay Pakiad, Oton, Iloilo, at around 10:23 p.m.
The operation resulted in the arrest of alias “Bryan,” 35, a regional priority target and high-value individual.
Police said Bryan is a native of Barangay Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City, and was temporarily residing in Oton.
Authorities recovered from him about 275 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of PHP 1,870,000.
Police also seized several pieces of drug and non-drug evidence.
The operation was conducted by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6, Regional Intelligence Division 6, Police Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit 6, and the Oton Municipal Police Station.
Police Brig. Gen. Randulf T. Tuaño, acting PRO6 director, commended the operating units for their coordination and commitment to the anti-illegal drug campaign.
All arrested suspects are in police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
