PRO6 ranks third nationwide in the Other Wanted Persons rating

ILOILO CITY — Police Regional Office 6 ranked third nationwide in the Philippine National Police’s Other Wanted Persons rating after arresting 111 other wanted persons from Aug. 1–15, 2026.
PRO6 posted a 1.04% OWP rating during the period, according to the Accomplishment Report on the Arrest of Wanted Persons of the PNP Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management.
The regional police office trailed PRO8, which recorded a 1.34% rating, and PRO2, which posted 1.15%.
PRO6 also arrested 46 Most Wanted Persons during the same 15-day period.
Of those arrested, 10 were classified as Regional-Level Most Wanted Persons.
Police Brig. Gen. Randulf T. Tuaño, PRO6 regional director, attributed the ranking to sustained manhunt operations, intelligence gathering, and coordination among police units and communities across Western Visayas.
“Ang pagkamit ng PRO6 sa Top 3 nationwide OWP rating ay patunay ng sipag at determinasyon ng ating mga kapulisan na matunton at maaresto ang mga indibidwal na may pananagutan sa batas. Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang intelligence-driven manhunt operations at pakikipagtulungan sa mga komunidad upang matiyak na ang mga wanted person ay mahaharap sa hustisya,” pahayag ni PBGen Tuaño.
Tuaño also thanked the public for continuing to provide information that assists police operations.
He urged residents to maintain their cooperation with law enforcement authorities to help keep communities safe and peaceful.
Tuaño assumed leadership of PRO6 as acting regional director on May 22, 2026, after previously serving as spokesperson and chief of the PNP Public Information Office.
PRO6’s jurisdiction covers Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, and Iloilo, including Iloilo City, following the current regional police organization in Western Visayas.
