The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) apprehended 194 wanted individuals — including one of the country’s most wanted fugitives and all Top 10 most wanted in Western Visayas — during a regionwide 30-day manhunt from Nov. 1 to 30, 2025.
Police units across Western Visayas were deployed to track down fugitives in support of the Philippine National Police’s intensified anti-criminality campaign.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office recorded the highest number of arrests with 100, including the national most wanted person.
It was followed by the Capiz Provincial Police Office with 27 arrests and the Iloilo City Police Office with 24.
Other provincial and city units also made notable contributions to the overall result of the campaign.
PRO6 regional director, Police Brig. Gen. Josefino D. Ligan commended the relentless efforts of the operating units and emphasized the value of community involvement.
“These results reflect the commitment and determination of our personnel to ensure that fugitives are brought to justice,” Ligan said.
He also thanked the public, noting that community-provided information played a key role in the success of the operation.
All arrested individuals have been turned over to their respective courts for proper legal proceedings.
