The Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region (PRO NIR) paid tribute to its exemplary personnel on November 10, 2025, during a recognition ceremony held at Kanlaon Hall, Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr., Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.
The ceremony was led by PBGEN Dennis A. Esguerra, officer-in-charge of PRO NIR, who conferred awards and commendations upon police officers who demonstrated outstanding dedication, integrity, and professionalism in carrying out their duties and advancing the Philippine National Police’s mission in the region.
The following were conferred the Medalya ng Kasanayan for their services rendered as the Red Teaming of PRO NIR during Undas 2025 (All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day) in the Negros Island Region: PLTCOL Jerry B. Corpuz, PLTCOL John G. Ganzon, and PLTCOL Joel A. Senogat Jr.
The personnel effectively and efficiently fulfilled the mandated operational requirements of PRO NIR during the period.
The Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to the following officers for exemplary performance, efficiency, and devotion to duty during Undas 2025: PEMS Ruel D. Gubac, PCMS Paulo V. Matunding, PMSg Glenn V. Cordero, PMSg Mark Phen G. Diwatin, PSSg Mark Jesmar E. Ruiz, and PCpl Joey S. Bana-ag.
Their commitment and service contributed significantly to achieving the goals of the Philippine National Police.
These personnel brought pride not only to themselves but also to the entire PNP organization by embodying the core values of service, honor, and justice.
This recognition affirms PRO NIR’s commitment to excellence, discipline, and integrity in public service.
Guided by strong leadership and a shared vision for a safer and more peaceful Negros Island Region, PRO NIR continues its dedication to serve and protect the community with honor.
