The Philippine National Police will again hold a nationwide simultaneous license to own and possess firearm (LTOPF) and firearm registration on Nov. 27-28, 2020.
For Police Regional Office 6, the caravan will be held at the 2nd floor of SM City Iloilo at the Northpoint (near Quantum) in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong, PRO-6 spokesperson, said the caravan will cater to both civilian and uniformed gun-owners who will process or renew their licenses and firearm registration.
“Again, we are reminding everyone who will avail of the services of the caravan to observe health protocols and guidelines set by the IATF,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU6) explained about the arrangement of LTOPF requirements:
- Filled-up LTOPF application forms (2 pieces);
- Original drug test result from the PNP Crime Laboratory with receipt;
- Photocopy of two valid government-issued identification cards/Senior Citizen ID;
- Original copy of gun safety seminar certificate with receipt;
- Original NBI clearance with receipt;
- Original birth certificate issued by PSA or by the local civil registrar or photocopy of passport;
- Original neuro-psychiatric examination result from the PNP Health Service or DOH-accredited government hospital with receipt;
- Original local police clearance or DI or RID clearance with receipts;
- Original proof of latest billing or barangay clearance; and
- Proof of income. Any of of the following (original or certified true copy of the issuing office)
* Authenticated copy of payslip
* Latest copy of ITR received by the BIR
* Authenticated copy of business permit
* Certificate of employment
* Authenticated copy of appointment order
* Authenticated copy of retirement order
* Certificate of pension
* Bank certificate of deposit
* Land title issued by the Registry of Deeds
* Certification from barangay chairman and COP for proof of livelihood (for farmers only).
The RCSU-6 noted that all certified true copy of authenticated copy documents should be accomplished by the issuing office and placed inside a long brown envelope
