PRO-6 seizes suspected shabu worth nearly PHP 1 million

The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) arrested 13 suspects in 11 anti-drug operations across Western Visayas, the regional police said Thursday.
The operations, conducted from 6 a.m. on July 16 to 5:59 a.m. on July 17, 2026, yielded approximately 141 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of PHP 956,352.
PRO-6 classified three of the suspects as high-value individuals and the other 10 as street-level individuals.
The largest seizure occurred during a buy-bust operation at about 6 p.m. on July 16 along Calumay Street in Barangay Poblacion, Leon, Iloilo.
Police identified the arrested suspects as alias “Heny,” 29, an unemployed Leon resident, and alias “Arjon,” 27, a salesman from Pavia.
Both suspects were classified as high-value individuals.
Operatives recovered approximately 70 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of PHP 476,000.
Police also recovered buy-bust money and other evidence during the operation.
