Police Regional Office 6 recorded major accomplishments in its intensified anti-criminality campaign with the arrest of two top most wanted persons in separate operations in Iloilo on September 12, 2025.
At around 1:50 p.m., Maasin Municipal Police Station operatives, backed by the 1st Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company, arrested alias “Toto,” a 38-year-old laborer and resident of Maasin, Iloilo.
He was apprehended in Barangay Daja by virtue of a warrant of arrest for four counts of rape by carnal knowledge, with no bail recommended.
Alias “Toto” is currently under police custody for proper disposition.
Later the same day, at around 4:12 p.m., a tracker team from Carles Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Lorenzo,” also 38 years old and a laborer, in Barangay Bancal, Carles, Iloilo.
Alias “Lorenzo” was wanted at the municipal level by Roxas Municipal Police Station under the Palawan Police Provincial Office, PRO-4B.
The warrant of arrest for rape was issued on December 23, 2023, by Branch 164 of the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Roxas, Palawan, with no bail recommended.
He is now under the custody of Carles police for proper disposition.
