Police Brigadier General Rolando F Miranda, Western Visayas’s top cop, led the blessing and ceremonial turnover of 19 units of patrol jeeps on Dec 16, 2020.
PRO6 Regional Pastoral Officer, Police Colonel Noel R Ponsaran, officiated the blessing of the patrol cars at Camp Delgado.
The 19 single cab 4×2 (Toyota Hi-Lux) patrol jeeps was issued by the National Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City to PRO6 to enhance the capabilities of the municipalities towards maintaining peace and to strengthen the operational competence of the unit.
“We are happy for the addition patrol cars given by the NHQ, This will boost our capability in our anti- crime efforts and to be more effective in patrolling system, to the recipient of this patrol units especially to the drivers, take care of this vehicle and treat this as if it’s your own, PBGen Miranda said.
Miranda thanked the Local Chief Executive of the recipient police stations for attending the activity.
These patrol cars will be distributed to the police stations of, Altavas, Banga, Ibajay, Lezo, Libacao, Makato, Malinao, Nabas, Numancia, Pandan, Patnongon, Calatrava, Hinigaran, La Castellana, Moises Padilla, Murcia, Pontevedra, San Enrique and Villadolid.
