PRO-6 extends help to family of fallen cop

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 extended financial assistance to the family of the late Police Staff Sgt. Elvin Agting on Oct 18, 2021 at Barangay Iluares in Bugasong, Antique.
Agting was shot dead afternoon of Oct 15 while responding to an earlier shooting incident at Brgy Cubay, Bugasong
Col Richard B Baluis, PRO-6 Regional Comptrollership Division chief, turned over the assistance to Agting’s son Elgin Fred on behalf of Brig. Gen. Rolando F Miranda, PRO-6 director.
Also present during the turnover were Major Aladine Revocal of the Regional Finance Services Office-6, Major Benjo Clarete of Antique police, and Lt. Fritz Padroncillo, Bugasong Municipal Police Station chief.
Agting will also receive the Medalya ng Kadakilaan for his heroism in the line of fire.
“The untimely demise of PSSG Agting is a loss that has saddened the entire PRO6. In this moment of mourning, the PRO6 extends its deepest gratitude for his courage, selflessness, commitment and dedication to service, flag and country. His heroism is an inspiration and will not be forgotten,” Gen. Miranda said.
