80 police officers assigned at Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 headquarters in Iloilo City were called for a surprise random drug test on Feb 3, 2020 at the Crime Laboratory inside Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B. Delgado.
15 PCOs and 65 PNCOs were randomly picked to undergo said drug testing. The unannounced check is to ensure that no member will engage in any illegal drugs use.
This is the second round of surprise random drug test for the year 2020. The first random testing was January 10 t0 14, 2020 where the results released on January 28, 2020, was negative.
The drug test complies with the aggressive campaign against illegal drugs which is part of the internal cleansing program of the Philippine National Police.
The drug testing was administered by the Regional Crime Laboratory Office 6 (RCLO6) under Police Colonel Enrique Ancheta.
“As promised, more of this kind of test will be conducted” Pamuspusan warns other members of PRO6.
