PRO-6 conducts blood letting activity

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 collected 18,450 CC of blood in a Blood Letting Activity on Feb 22, 2022 at the PRO6 Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City.
The activity was in partnership with the Western VIsayas Medical Center Regional Blood Bank Center (WVMCRBBC) Team headed by Dr. Ellen Grace B. Solatorio of the Western Visayas Blood Bank.
The endeavor aimed to support the Blood Assurance Program of the Western Visayas Medical Center-Regional Blood Bank Center to sustain the availability of blood amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
57 PNP personnel voluntarily submitted themselves to screening process but only 41 were considered as successful donors.

Police Brigadier General Flynn E Dongbo, PRO-6 director, thanked the leadership of WVMCRBBC and RMDU6 for the initiative and full support to the program and the donors for the selfless sacrifice offered.
“This meaningful endeavor truly helps those individual that needs blood daily. This may seem simple to us, but it is a great help to those in dire need,” PB Gen Dongbo added.
