The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 received Certificates of Recognition for the peaceful and successful conduct of the May 9, 2022 national and local elections.
The award was given by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) 6 during the Regional Joint Security Control Center (RJSCC) exit briefing on May 31, 2022 at PRO-6 Madia-as Hall Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City.
It was signed by Western Visayas Regional Election Director, Attorney Wilfred Jay E. Balisado.
Police Brigadier General Flynn Dongbo, the Region’s top cop, received the award on behalf of the men and women of PRO-6.
In his remarks, Atty. Balisado expressed his sincerest gratitude to the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) and other government agencies for their significant contributions, thus, making the recent elections peaceful and successful.
The guest during the activity was COMELEC Commissioner Aimee P. Ferolino.
In her message, Ferolino warmly congratulated the members of RJSCC for the dedication, hard work and best practices applied that makes the elections in the region a secure, accurate, peaceful and orderly.
She encouraged the body to continue the RJSCC’s best practice of unity and partnership in order to have an excellent result in all its endeavors.
The activity was attended by RJSCC member agencies and invited guests from Department of Interior and Local Government 6, Department of Health 6 and NGCP.
