Prime Video released the tease art, teaser trailer and premiere date for “Young Sherlock,” which will debut exclusively on the service on March 4, 2026.
All eight episodes will premiere at once on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin, known for the “After” series, stars as Sherlock Holmes.
Guy Ritchie directs the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer.
Set in 1870s Oxford with adventures abroad, the series reimagines Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective as a disgraced, raw and unfiltered young man pulled into a murder case that threatens his liberty.
His first case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy that changes his life, tracing the early path of the anarchic adolescent who has yet to become Baker Street’s most renowned resident.
Previously announced cast members include Dónal Finn, Zine Tseng, Joseph Fiennes, Natascha McElhone, Max Irons and Colin Firth.
The series is created for television and executive produced by showrunner Matthew Parkhill, with executive producers Dhana Rivera Gilbert, Marc Resteghini, Simon Maxwell, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Kelton and Colin Wilson.
Harriet Creelman and Steve Thompson serve as co-executive producers.
Motive Pictures led physical production for “Young Sherlock.”
