AN ALLEGED remnant of the Prevendido Drug Group was arrested in a police anti-narcotic operation early evening of Sept. 10, 2019 at City Proper district, Iloilo City.
Raul Aniolga, 57, of Barangay San Vicente, Jaro district, was arrested after at Muelle Loney Street after selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P10,000.
Members of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RDEU-6) further yielded three sachets of suspected shabu from the suspect.
According to the RDEU team leader, it took them three months before they arrested the suspect.
Aniolga, who is considered a high-value target (HVT) level 1 drug personality, reportedly declined to deal with persons not familiar to him.
The suspect is now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Richard Prevendido, one of the suspected drug ring leaders in the city and province of Iloilo, was gunned down in a police operation in September 2018.
