As part of the leading institution that promotes and preserves the country’s culture and arts, the Cultural Center of the Philippines continues to fulfill its mandate to bring the Philippine arts and culture closer to the Filipino people through different programs and projects, as well as various productions, shows, and events.
One of our most well-attended outreach events are the concerts of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO).
The nation’s premiere orchestra has performed in different towns in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
This January 19, 2023, at 7:00 pm the country’s premiere orchestra will be serenading the audiences with their classical and contemporary music at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, Iloilo City.
The PPO under the baton of Maestro Herminigildo Ranera will perform classical music, show tunes, movie themes, Filipino folk songs, and pop hits.
Guest performers, Lara Maigue and Gian Magdangal will also grace the stage with captivating performances.
The outreach is FREE and open to the public.
