Police nab ‘wanted persons’ in Bacolod City, Negros Occ

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 reported the arrest of two alleged wanted persons in separate operations in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City on Feb 28, 2022.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit, Sipalay City Police Station and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 first collared Jessie Bustamante, 40, of Purok Malipayon, Barangay San Jose in Sipalay, Negros Occidental at around 7:15 p.m. Monday.
Bustamante is facing a rape case docketed as Criminal Case number 2011-5329 in the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The court issued the arrest warrant against Bustamante on May 4, 2021.
According to reports, Bustamante sexually molested a minor sometime in 2011.
Meanwhile, the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company (BCMFC) arrested Elijun Alarcon, 34, of Purok San Roque, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City at around 4:50 p.m. at Purok Santol, Barangay Mandalagan.
Alarcon is accused of violating Republic Act 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Law) in Criminal Case Number 22-55176.
Judge Phoebie A. Gargantiel-Balbin of the Regional Trial Court Branch 41 in Bacolod City issued the arrest warrant against the suspect on Feb 16, 2022.
Alarcon allegedly molested a minor at Imperial Court, Bacolod City sometime in June 2021.
Bustamante was not allowed to post bail while bail for Alarcon was set at P200,000.
