Police have persons of interest in burglary case

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police here said they already have persons of interest in the P2.5-million burglary (not P2 million as earlier reported) that victimized the daughter of former Capiz governor Antonio del Rosario over the weekend at Barangay Tanza here.
Police Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles of the Roxas City police station said investigation is still ongoing as they do not discount the possibility that the suspects were insiders because they knew where the valuables items were kept.
Couple Suzanne del Rosario-lgnacio and Engel lgnacio discovered the burglary after they noticed that the main gate of their house was opened and the light inside their room were already on.
The couple also discovered that the safety box containing assorted jewelries was forcibly opened.
The missing jewelries include earrings, bracelets, watches, and rings. Also missing were their bank books.
