Marco John Rementizo and his camp are already finalizing their strategies against Wanheng “Thai Mayweather” Menayothin in their Thai World Boxing Council’s minimumweight clash.
The pride of Cagayan de Oro will try to end the legacy of the undefeated living legend in Thai’s boxing scene. Holding a staggering 54-0 record in his professional career, Menayothin was tagged as the “Thai Mayweather” after surpassing Money’s 50-0 win-loss record.
Originally slated on April 25, 2020, the mega-fight was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Golden Boy Promotions are currently working on a new schedule for the clash.
As for Rementizo, his camp has signified their preparedness for the fight adding that they are just finalizing additional strategies to take down the Thai legend.
The PH slugger will be the 23rd Filipino who will have the chance to make history and spoil Menayothin’s spotless record.
Both fighters are coming to the fight on a roll, Menayothin landing a series of knockouts in his past fights while the younger and hungrier Rementizo was able to beat his last four opponents in a convincing fashion.
Will Menayothin remain as the King of Thai boxing? Or will youth prevail over experience?
