ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member of Pilar, Capiz was elected president of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL)-Capiz Chapter on Sept. 9, 2019 at Kapis Mansion in Brgy. Banica here.
Mitchelle John Patricio got 104 votes against his opponent Angela Joy Tupas, also of Pilar town, who got 62 votes.
A total of 168 Roxas City and town councilors joined in the election.
Meanwhile, Ferdinand Baguio of Sapian town, who ran unopposed for vice president, got 122 votes.
Chriselle Joy Diaz of Maayon was elected secretary general after getting 82 votes over her opponent Syvil Grace Dueñas also of Maayon who got 81 votes.
Elected treasurer was Myrna Malecosio of Cuartero (92 votes).
Neriza Joy San Felix of Tapaz is auditor after getting 80 votes.
Catherine San Antonio of lvisan town garnered 84 votes to win as business manager.
The Press Relation Officer (PRO) is Gilbert Derramas of Panitan who secured 75 votes.
The members of the board of directors are Nonato Daradar, Leila Mae Leonor, Steve Hijosa, Braulio Godfrey Asis, Regina Fancubila, and Dave Rainier Basiliano.
