BACOLOD CITY – Ten people were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Bacolod and Negros Occidental from Feb. 18 to 21, leading to the seizure of suspected shabu worth PHP835,600.
Police Station 8 recorded the largest drug haul, confiscating PHP476,000 worth of suspected shabu from three individuals, including a teenager, in a drug bust in Barangay Singcang-Airport early Friday.
In Pontevedra town, a 35-year-old laborer was arrested in Barangay Miranda on Wednesday, resulting in the seizure of 15 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP102,000.
On Feb. 18, police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) dismantled an alleged drug den and arrested four people in Barangay 16.
Authorities seized 31 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP108,000, along with two improvised tooters, five lighters, and PHP814 in cash.
That same day in Kabankalan City, two individuals were caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1 with 22 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP149,600.
Police also recovered two improvised tooters and two plastic straw scoops.
