BACOLOD CITY – Police confiscated PHP442,000 worth of suspected shabu in two buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Thursday and Friday.
In Pontevedra town, a 32-year-old man known as “Bokaw” was arrested in Barangay Miranda after authorities seized 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP340,000.
The next day, three men were apprehended in Barangay Linao, Kabankalan City, for possessing 15 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP102,000.
The suspects were identified only by their aliases: “Janjan,” 27; “Ron,” 23; and “Mark,” 27, all residents of the same barangay.
Police also recovered two improvised glass tooters, two improvised plastic straw scoops, and other non-drug items from the scene.
Police Capt. Sammy Gasataya, deputy chief of the Kabankalan Component City Police Station, said the three were classified as street-level individuals.
