PHP20-M vehicles turned over to Iloilo hospitals

Nine district hospitals under the Iloilo Provincial Government, along with the Hospital Management Office, received brand-new service vehicles on Nov. 17 to enhance operational efficiency and mobility in delivering public health services.
The beneficiary hospitals are Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital in Cabatuan, Sara District Hospital in Sara, Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial Hospital in Lambunao, Ramon D. Duremdes District Hospital in Dumangas, Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian, Don Valerio Palmares Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Passi City, Federico Roman Tirador Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Janiuay, Dr. Ricardo S. Provido Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Calinog, and Jesus M. Colmenares District Hospital in Balasan.
The new vehicles are expected to improve the mobility of hospital officials and personnel, particularly in facilitating transactions, logistical requirements, and coordination with the Iloilo Provincial Capitol.
The procurement of the vehicles was funded through PHP20 million sourced from Supplemental Budget No. 1–2024.
Provincial Administrator Dr. Raul Banias, Vice Governor Nathalie Ann Debuque, and Provincial Legal Officer Dennis Ventilacion led the ceremonial turnover, handing over the vehicles to the chiefs of hospital and their staff.
“We honor our dedicated health workers and continue championing initiatives that reach every Ilonggo. Our mission remains steadfast: to serve and to uplift the welfare of our communities,” Debuque said.
