More than PHP2 million worth of suspected shabu was seized from four individuals during an anti-drug operation in Dumarao, Capiz on the afternoon of July 8.
Police identified the suspects only by their aliases: Ceicel, 45; Marty, 44, a farmer; and Noel, a soldier who had gone AWOL.
All three are residents of Barangay Astorga, Dumarao, where the operation was conducted.
Also arrested was alias Richard, 47, of Rizal Street, Barangay 7, Roxas City, Capiz.
The Capiz Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU), in coordination with the Dumarao Municipal Police Station, arrested the suspects after they allegedly conspired to sell a sachet of suspected shabu for PHP12,000.
Police recovered two knot-tied plastic packs, 40 additional sachets of suspected shabu, and various non-drug items during the operation.

Capiz police chief Col. Albert Tapulao said the confiscated drugs weighed around 350 grams with a standard value of PHP2,040,000.
Tapulao said Ceicel was the main target of the operation, though all four suspects are classified as high-value individuals.
Authorities are investigating the group’s network and the source of their drug supply.
The suspects are currently detained and will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
