Primary care benefits cover consultations, essential laboratory tests, and various cancer screenings.
Essential medicines are provided when prescribed by authorized physicians.
The program promotes prevention and early detection to reduce the financial burden of disease on Filipino families.
Benefits are designed to provide financial protection by ensuring access to essential healthcare services.
Expanded coverage includes cancer screenings such as mammograms, low-dose chest CT scans, and colonoscopies.
Members must be registered with up-to-date premium contributions to avail of benefits. They may also visit the nearest PhilHealth-accredited YAKAP clinics or facilities for consultations and referrals.
After a doctor’s assessment, necessary laboratory tests or cancer screenings may be recommended and performed at the YAKAP clinic or partner facilities.
Authorized physicians issue prescriptions for essential medicines covered under the program.
