The Philippine Rowing Association (RPA) became the first sports association in the country to undergo International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Quality Management System.
By doing this, the PH Rowing group is now expecting high-quality management based on scientific approaches of the ISO to avoid further lapses that can cause loopholes in the organization.
Patrick Gregorio, the president of the RPA, said that he hopes their bold move of registering the national sports association under ISO will set the standards among the other associations regarding efficiency and performance.
The ISO management’s primary goal is to ensure that the sports organization will have Quality Management System that will be the basis of their everyday framework.
Gregorio and the rest of the RPA are proud and happy because despite the havoc caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to pull-off one of the most crucial decisions they made.
PRA ISO consultants Francisco Arellano and Rowena Tiamzon headed and supervised the ceremony attended by Gregorio and other RPA staff.
