Filipino Dota 2 squad TNC Predator was eliminated in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: S1-Southeast Asia Upper Division by rival team Fnatic.
The Raven-led Fnatic squad executed enough counter-tactics to nullify TNC’s gameplan coming into Game 3.
TNC’s carry Gabbi was completely shut down by Fnatic with a disappointing 0 kills, 6 deaths, and 5 assists stat-line.
Fnatic’s tremendous map control and aggressive roaming strategy helped register early side lane kills in the early game.
TNC’s mid-laner Armel tried to help his team come back with a well-farmed Leshrac, leading the team with 9 kills but Raven’s core Phantom Assassin was just too much.
Raven’s Phantom Assassin proved too strong for TNC and was at full items with the help of DJ’s Bounty Hunter who made the map visible with his aggressive tracking.
The loss will most likely keep the Filipinos out of the Singapore Major contention. They’ll have to regroup and go back to boot camp for new plays.
