The Philippines Football League (PFL) is back on track after the nine personnel who tested positive for COVID-19 already got negative results.
Announcing that they will face a delay due to the COVID-19 complications inside their Carmona bubble, the PFL management already announced that they will be kicking-off this October 28, 2020.
“All players, coaches, and staff underwent antigen tests last Sunday, October 25, inside the league’s bubble in Seda Nuvali in Santa Rosa, Laguna. All had negative results,” read PFL’s statement.
For added health and safety measures inside the bubble, the PFL management also decided to closely monitor the two clubs where nine of the positive cases came from.
“Antigen tests will be conducted regularly every other day for the two clubs. Pre-match day antigen test will also be conducted for the rest,” continued the statement.
Also, one of the main reasons for the delay was the entry of tropical depression Quinta in the country which deeply affected the playing field.
