Regional football associations (RFAs) are invited to nominate their top two female players for a chance to represent the country on the international stage.
Tryouts will be held in key locations across the country to ensure wide participation and identify the best futsal talents.
The selection process will take place on Feb. 15-16 in Cebu, Feb. 17-18 in Dipolog, Feb. 19-20 in Davao, Feb. 22-23 in NCR, and Feb. 24-28 at a location to be announced for foreign and local players.
Players must be at least 16 years old or born on or before Jan. 1, 2009, to be eligible.
Interested athletes must coordinate with their RFAs and submit nominations through the official Confirmation Form by Feb. 10, 2025.
“The upcoming FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup is a historic moment for Philippine futsal, and we want to showcase our nation’s best talent,” the PFF said in a statement.
The PFF recognizes the growth of women’s futsal in the country through tournaments such as Palarong Pambansa, Batang Pinoy Games, and SCUAA.
The federation aims to build a competitive national team that will inspire young athletes and promote the development of women’s futsal in the Philippines.
