PDIC donates old equipment, furniture to assist in public service delivery

Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) donated a total of 30 used desktop computers, 10 office chairs and five office tables to the Municipality of Lubang in Occidental Mindoro, Las Piñas National High School (LPNHS), and Barangay 181 Zone 16 in Manila’s 2nd district, in support of government sector initiatives.
The virtual ceremonial turnover held on October 14, 2021 was led by PDIC Vice President Cyrus T. Galang (Administrative Services Group) (1st row, leftmost) and attended by Lubang Municipal Mayor Michael Lim Orayani (1st row, center) and LPNHS Principal Ignacio L. Son, Jr. (1st row, rightmost) as beneficiary-agencies.
Other attendees (from L-R, 2nd to 3rd rows) were PDIC personnel, Maria Patricia T. Villanueva, Richard T. Onesa, Daisy Ann T. Alagos, and Janet B. Aguila; Mary Ann Guevarra (LPNHS Brigada Eskwela Coordinator), and Ariel Austine R. Yanuario, Jr. (representing the Commission on Audit). The representative from Barangay 181 Zone 16 was unable to attend.
Consistent with its core values of love of country and teamwork, the Corporation donates old equipment and furniture to requesting government units based on standard guidelines and procedures.
In doing so, the PDIC is able to help equip local government units and public schools to be more efficient in their public service delivery. (PDIC)
