BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental yesterday raided an alleged drug den in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental where eight persons were arrested.
Police identified the alleged drug maintainer as a certain Nova Rojas, 43.
According to PDEA, they tracked down Rojas after the agency received reports through “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins” hotline, about her alleged illegal drug trade in the village.
Seven others aged 28 to 56 were caught in the area during the operation that yielded about 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, the P500 marked money, lighter, and a plastic case containing foil strips.
Drug charges are being readied against the suspects who are detained at San Carlos City Police Station.
Rojas has yet to be reached for comment.
