BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental arrested three individuals during a buy-bust operation last Friday that resulted in the dismantling of a suspected drug den at Purok Jose Rizal, Barangay 14.
One of the individuals was identified as Julius De Pedro Batayen, 39, who is believed to be the drug den maintainer.
PDEA reported that several sachets of suspected shabu, with a total weight of Eight grams and an estimated value of P54,500, were seized during the operation.
Confiscated items included marked money, improvised tooters, lighters, and cash suspected to be from the illegal drug trade.
The operation took place in collaboration with the Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) Bravo and the Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG)-Special Operations Unit (SOU)-6.
