BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-6 dismantled an alleged drug den in Barangay 33 here where five persons were arrested in a buy-bust Thursday.
The drug bust dubbed by PDEA as “high impact operation” resulted in the arrest of Michael Pango, an alleged drug den maintainer.
PDEA-6 spokesperson Shey Tanaleon, said the four other arrested individuals were allegedly caught holding a “pot session.”
Confiscated from them were about 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, improvised tooters, and marked money, among others.
Tanaleon said the arrested individuals were considered high value because of the high impact operation.
They underwent drug testing and are detained at the PDEA office.
On that day, PDEA- Negros Occidental also raided an alleged drug den in San Carlos City that led to the arrest of eight persons and seizure of P102,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Pango has yet to be reached for comment.
