PBA: NLEX, Robert Bolick agree to 3-year contract extension

The NLEX Road Warriors made it known that they will continue to build around superstar Robert Bolick after signing him to a three-year contract extension.
Although the terms were undisclosed, multiple sources have already confirmed that the deal was a maximum contract extension, with Bolick earning PHP 420,000 monthly, excluding team perks and bonuses.
The Road Warriors held a simple contract signing ceremony for Bolick, attended by NLEX President and General Manager Luis Renon, team governor Ronald Dulatre, and head coach Jimmy Alapag.
“Excited for the road ahead,” Bolick posted on his official Instagram account.
“Signing this contract is more than just a paperwork. It’s a testament of my hard work, determination, grit, and commitment to this team.”
Bolick made headlines during the 2023 PBA season after a stunning trade by the NorthPort Batang Pier sent him to the Road Warriors.
Tagged as one of the biggest trades in PBA history, the deal saw NLEX acquire Bolick’s services in a three-team trade that also involved the San Miguel Beermen.
Despite admitting that he was salty about the unexpected offseason move, Bolick quickly embraced NLEX as his new home and saw his numbers skyrocket as the seasons progressed.
In the ongoing PBA Governors’ Cup, Bolick is having one of his best conferences, averaging 17.6 points, 7.5 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in nine games.
Bolick’s individual brilliance steered the Road Warriors to a share of the No. 1 spot alongside San Miguel in the standings and has already assured them of a playoff spot.
“This would not be possible without you LORD. Thank you sa lahat ng blessings! Everything is possible when you have the Lord your God!” Bolick added.
Currently, Bolick and the Road Warriors are on vacation as the PBA called for a long break due to Gilas Pilipinas’ intensive training for the upcoming fourth window of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
