The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) released additional health and safety protocols in the playing venue after another COVID-19 scare.
As four members of the TNT Tropang Giga were re-swabbed due to questionable results, the PBA will be requiring everyone in the bench area to wear masks and follow the designated seating arrangement strictly.
The league somehow allowed some coaches to take off their masks while talking on the sidelines but because of the new protocol, everyone should strictly wear their masks again.
Those who will violate the newly set protocols will receive a warning from the PBA board and the game officials including a technical foul on improper bench decorum.
The players should also secure their own warmers and must place them in the area where they are seated.
Also, personal belongings such as water bottles, towels, and other gaming equipment will have a designated area on the left side of their seats.
