Parking attendant wanted for gun case arrested

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A parking attendant wanted for illegal possession of an unlicensed firearm was arrested by police Monday afternoon, June 15.
Police identified the suspect as alias Kipat, 29, a parking attendant and resident of Barangay Tanque in Roxas City.
Reports from the Roxas Component City Police Station said the suspect is wanted for violating Section 32 of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco-Deslate, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Roxas City, Capiz, on June 11, 2026.
The suspect is under the custody of the Roxas City police station for proper disposition and court referral after he failed to post bail for his temporary liberty.
Alias Kipat was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by police a few months ago.
He was charged with illegal possession of a firearm after he allegedly failed to present documents proving the legality of the firearm.
