Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo opened the holiday season with a striking celebration on November 19 as the hotel unveiled its annual Christmas tree through “The Blue Hour: A Symphony in Indigo.” Guests filled the lobby, where the tree stood concealed behind a replica of a grand hotel door, adding a touch of theatre to the evening.
General Manager Rouel Guanzon opened the program with a warm message, followed by an address from SM Hotels and Conventions Corp.’s Vice President for Human Resources, Charmagne Adonis. Councilor Nene Dela Llana then delivered Mayor Raisa Treñas’ Christmas message, grounding the event in the city’s shared sense of community.
The crowd was captivated by dancers from the PCD School of Ballet, who added elegance and sparkle to the celebration. Right after, VIP guests gathered for the night’s centerpiece moment. With a giant Radisson Rewards room key card in hand, they slid it into an oversized slot, lighting the tree and marking the official start of the festive season at Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo. The lobby glowed in shades of indigo as guests cheered and captured the moment.
The celebration continued under the dome, where a generous holiday spread awaited. Gabria Band set a smooth, cozy mood with jazz renditions of Christmas classics. The evening reached its highlight with a holiday toast led by GM Rouel Guanzon, joined by VIP guests and Iloilo City Councilor Atty. Sedfrey Cabaluna, lifting the spirit of the season even higher.
Guests were then treated to exciting raffle prizes, from room stays to buffet vouchers from SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. properties, adding a fun and festive finish to the night.
“The Blue Hour” didn’t just light up the hotel. It set the tone for a heartfelt and memorable Christmas in the City of Love.
