The Department of Trade and Industry Region 6 will open Panubli-on 2025 on Nov. 6, spotlighting the creativity, heritage and entrepreneurship of Western Visayas.
The regional trade fair, now in its 22nd year, will run through Nov. 10 at SM City Iloilo and feature more than 150 micro, small and medium enterprises from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo and Negros Occidental.
Organized under the theme “Local Ingenuity, New Opportunities,” the fair will highlight over 100 newly developed products made through DTI Region 6’s programs — One Town, One Product (OTOP), the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) and the Creative Industries initiative.
Derived from the Ilonggo word for “heritage,” Panubli-on reflects the region’s commitment to preserving its cultural identity while advancing local enterprise.
“This is a celebration of how tradition and innovation can co-exist,” said DTI Region 6 Officer-in-Charge Regional Director Ma. Dinda R. Tamayo.
Live demonstrations, product tastings and special showcases will highlight Western Visayan craftsmanship, indigenous materials and culinary excellence throughout the five-day event.
Visitors can sample coconut-based products, tablea and freshly brewed coffee from Nov. 6 to 10.
A QR code payment system will allow for seamless, cashless transactions during the fair.
The Malikhaing Pinoy: Creatives-in-Focus series will spotlight designers and creative clusters across the Creative Industries domains on Nov. 7, 8 and 10.
Invited buyers will participate in buying missions and firm visits on Nov. 6 and 7 to explore potential business partnerships with local MSMEs.
The OTOP Roadshow on Nov. 6 will brief local government units on implementing rules and regulations for the OTOP program.
On Nov. 7, the Moonshot TNK 2.0 – MentorMatch Pitching event will give startups a platform to present their business ideas to mentors and potential investors.
Bagwis Day on Nov. 8 will honor establishments with exemplary consumer welfare practices through the BAGWIS Award.
That same day, the Kiddie Ambassadors program will be launched, with 10 young ambassadors promoting local products and assisting with product sampling.
The trade fair will culminate on Nov. 9 with the Heritage and MSME Awards, recognizing outstanding enterprises in Western Visayas for innovation, excellence and impact.
A fashion show on Nov. 9 will feature culturally inspired collections by local designers, showcasing the region’s distinctive style and craftsmanship.
With a target of PHP 8 million in sales, Panubli-on 2025 aims to boost the regional economy and affirm Western Visayas’ position as a creative and culturally rich hub.
DTI Region 6 invites the public to experience the fair and support locally made products that embody Western Visayan heritage, creativity and enterprise.
Panubli-on 2025 is open to the public from Nov. 6 to 10 at the SM City Iloilo Activity Center.
Admission is free.
