ROXAS CITY, Capiz — The Capiz Police Provincial Office held its traditional Monday flag-raising and awarding ceremony on April 6, 2026, at Camp Teodorico C. Apil in Barangay Lanot, Roxas City.
The ceremony was led by Police Lt. Col. Ricardo B. Jomuad Jr., deputy provincial director for administration, under the supervision of provincial director Police Col. Albert D. Tapulao.
The event recognized the performance of police units and stations across the province.
The Panitan Municipal Police Station received the Best Performing Police Station award.
Police Capt. Ronald F. Ton-ogan, officer in charge, accepted the award on behalf of the station.
The Roxas City Police Station earned the Best Operating Unit award.
Police Maj. Aldren A. Lamera, deputy chief of police, received the award for the station.
Police said the unit maintained steady performance in law enforcement activities and public safety operations.
The office also honored individual achievements.
Police Master Sgt. Ma. Erika P. Bolalin and Police Cpl. Kris V. Ramos won the Women’s Month Pickleball Tournament.
In his closing message, Jomuad spoke about faith in service.
He reminded personnel to trust in a Supreme Being who guides their work.
He said that without this guidance, their efforts lose direction and purpose.
He urged officers to carry out their duties with humility, discipline and a clear sense of mission.
