Painter wounded in scissor stabbing
ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A painter was seriously wounded after he was stabbed with scissors by his neighbor Tuesday morning, May 26, on Bayot Drive, Barangay 9, Roxas City. Police identified the victim as Efren Aldea Jr., 29, while the suspect was Mark Niño Arcenas, 28, both residents of the area.

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A painter was seriously wounded after he was stabbed with scissors by his neighbor Tuesday morning, May 26, on Bayot Drive, Barangay 9, Roxas City.
Police identified the victim as Efren Aldea Jr., 29, while the suspect was Mark Niño Arcenas, 28, both residents of the area.
An investigation by the Roxas City Police Station showed that the incident started when the victim asked the suspect not to maul his wife, Michelle Arcenas.
The suspect got angry at the victim, resulting in a fistfight.
In the middle of the fight, the suspect took a pair of scissors and stabbed the victim in the left side of his stomach.
The victim was brought to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital for treatment, while the suspect was arrested by responding police and is under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station for proper disposition.
