BACOLOD City – Grudges allegedly triggered a father and his son to kill a man at Sitio Ginubatan, Purok 9, Barangay Talacdan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental last Monday.
Police identified the victim as Marjun Paclibar, 32, of the said village.
Lieutenant Colonel Norberto Barniso, town police chief, said Paclibar was working in his farm when the suspects identified as Romelo Basilio and Romeo Basilio passed by the area.
A confrontation occurred between the victim and suspects that led to the stabbing.
“Nakalabay lang ni ang duwa (suspects), tapos nag lab-utanay sila” Barniso said.
Paclibar succumbed to stab wounds in his body.
Romelo surrendered to the police, while Romeo is still at large.
